Mr Chong won 2nd World Harmonica Contest Championship which was held in Germany. Mr Chong was invited to perform at overseas frequently such as China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore. These also included North Korea抯 Art Festival. In 1990, Mr Chong formed Harmonica World Sdn Bhd and he had organized 5 national Harmonica Contests from 1990 onwards. In 1998, he organized 2nd Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival & Contest. He was also the judge and guest performer for several Asia Pacific Harmonica Festivals & Contests. In 2003, he guided the 460 People Largest Harmonica Performance in conjunction with Malaysia抯 National Day and this event was entered into the Malaysia Book of Records.

张雅诰

1989年，张氏凭《凤阳花鼓》荣获于德国举行的第二届世界口琴比赛复音口琴独奏冠军。出色的口琴演奏技术让张氏经常受邀在国外表演，如中、南韩、北韩、日、台、港、新、及印尼。

为了发扬及推广大众对口琴的认识，张氏长期积极推动马来西亚国内的口琴音乐活动。

1990年，他创办了口琴世界有限公司，并先后主办了5届全国口琴比赛。

1998年，主办第二届亚太口琴节及大赛，他也是历届亚太口琴大赛之评审及演奏嘉宾。
